GOLF

BLOOMINGDALE: One of the finest courses in the area, designed by Ron Gar. Rated #9 in Florida by GOLFWEEK magazine and ranked in Florida’s Top 60 by FLORIDA GOLFER. Constructed from a natural forest, swampland and natural marsh preserve, Bloomingdale claims to be “just golf and lots of it!” Tough, but fair …greens, all fast, but true. Located 25 minutes east of Tampa.
       PAR:72       YARDAGE: 6799    COURSE RATING : 72.8
             AMENITIES: B, L, SB, CL, LK,DR, CR,
Restrictions: Tee Times –Mon.-Thurs. and Friday until 11.30a.m.
                        No weekends. Strict dress code.

EAGLES: 3 completely different and challenging 9 hole courses… the Oaks, the Lakes and the Forrest (newest, designed by Ron Garl). Natural surroundings and numerous lakes border all 3. The Oaks and Lakes are flatter and more open in design and layout … the Forest is tighter and requires more accurate shot making. Great combinations! (20 minutes from Tampa).
PAR: 72                             YARDAGE: DEPENDS ON COMBINATIONS
                                          AMENITIES: L, SB, CL, DR
                                      RESTRICTIONS: Proper Golf Attire

GOLF CLUB AT CYPRESS CREEK: Designed and constructed to test every level of player. Well-manicured championship tees and greens will test the seasoned golfer with dramatic, rolling terrain, plenty of pot bunkers, and numerous water hazards, found on virtually every hole. A variety of shorter tees and alternate landing areas reward the higher handicapped. An enjoyable course for all to play! (35-40 minutes southeast of Tampa)
        PAR:72        YARDAGE: 6839 COURSE RATING:74.0
AMENITIES: New Clubhouse, L, D, SB, CL, DR, CR, S, LK
                              RESTRICTIONS: Strict Dress code
            Weekends/Holiday before 8a.m. or after 12p.m.

HUNTER’S GREEN: This exciting Tom Fazio gem was designed and created from existing Pine Flatwoods and wetlands. Definitely not the layout or design of traditional golf standards, this course features more spectacular, target oriented golf. A natural, picturesque layout has been developed to impress every caliber of golfer. Its characteristics include dramatic terrain, rolling fairways, and large, undulating greens, multitudes of pot bunkers, and huge mounds and dunes. Accuracy counts here! A terrific challenge! (25 minutes northeast of Tampa)
          PAR:72     YARDAGE: 6948   COURSE RATING: 74.1
AMENITIES: New Clubhouse B, L, CL, S, DR, CR, S
                             RESTRICTIONS: Strict dress code
                     Weekends/Holiday Tee Times …. After 12 p.m.

LINKS OF LAKE BERNADETTE: Now here’s a different Scottish links style course to trey out. Designed and built by Dean Refram, this layout is characterized by a variety of dunes, moguls and pot bunkers. Tree-lined fairways can be tight in many spots; open in others … tricky doglegs are common. Rolling fairways are bordered by water on 9 holes, which comes into play on only 3. #1 and #11 feature double greens. Very interesting, very challenging and well worth the 45 minute drive northeast of Tampa. Give it a try.
          PAR 71    YARDAGE: 6392   COURSE RATING: 70.0
                   AMENITIES: B, L, SB, CL, S, CR
                   RESTRICTIONS: Strict dress code.

NORTHDALE: Another designed by architect Ron Garl, Northdale offers its players more “breathtaking” space … fairways are wide open, with flatter terrain and larger greens. Hazards aren’t as treacherous, but don’t be fooled … they’re there! There are holes to challenge the best and holes t reward the worst. Many water hazards, found on 11 of the 18 holes, can prove to be critical and quite cumbersome. Suggest as a 1st/2nd day course to play. (15-20 minutes from downtown Tampa)
          PAR: 72    YARDAGE: 6838 COURSE RATING: 72.1
AMENITIES: B, L, SB, CL, S, LK, CR
RESTRICTIONS: Tee Times after 12 noon only (Dec.-April)
