Thursday 10/3 update

Thursday Update (not in any order)
– Regency has started on our lobby (see pics posted) and clubroom.
– Regency has a company that does garage cleaning and he came out and they should be starting tomorrow. We will work around the cars for now, but as I have said please call your agents and get the cars moved as soon as possible (to those that have reached out to let me know the date, pls ignore my request)
– The garage cleaning company is also having a company come out to clean out the 2 storm drains. I am thinking the drains will need to be cleaned out again after everything.
– The garage cleaning company will also be bringing a bobcat type of machine to scrape the sand off the outside part of the parking lot. To those residents please be aware we will need you to move your car when that happens. I am thinking that might be Saturday, but if you want please work with the guards to document which are is yours.
– I have called twice and even emailed the contact for the elevator remodel to see if they can get me a status on our parts for the elevator. I will be calling TKE in the morning, on the hour, until they give me a status. So as me typing this at 7:02pm we still don’t have an elevator, nor can I tell you when we will. Yesterday they said the part would be in today or tomorrow, but because I didn’t get a call back to my 2 phone calls and email, it has me worried.
– The electrician came out and fixed all but a few outlets.
– Insurance adjuster is suppose to be out tomorrow.
– Monday the door people are suppose to be out to just double checking the doors to make sure we understand what is needed to fix them.

Lastly I wanted to thank our staff and the other board members. I am in constant (and I do mean a lot) communication with them. They have been very helpful in reviewing quotes and making sure I don’t miss things. While they aren’t very vocal or posting here, they are just as much of the solution as I am. There is no “I” in “team” and we are all one big team.

And remember I am usually down in the lobby or you can text/call me on my cell (407-802-0232). As the commerical goes “everybody is a somebody.”

And my last thought is with all the remodeling that will be happening, if you never have watched the movie “Mr Mom” with Michael Keaton , you should, because on our stuff we will do it all “220 or 221 whatever it takes”
